Outlines

These are the outlines of units that are a part of the Diploma in a format that they can be used to obtain a third party report. Each unit is outlined in its elements and performance criteria so that you can be certain what is required in each unit. You will note that there are extra units: this is to allow for a variation in elective units that people may study or be able to RPL.

These outlines will enable you to ascertain whether you may have enough knowledge to RPL and the type of things you need to get evidence about. All documents are in Word format aside from the 2 Gambling units, and can be typed on for ease of management.

Full unit outlines may be obtained by going to www.training.gov.au. Place the unit code into the search on the home page and you will get a full outline of all aspects of that unit, including parameters for evidence of knowledge, pathways etc. The unit outlines currently on the website re an adaptation containing the elements and performance criteria, which is the nuts and bolts of what you need to know that can be used to obtain a THIRD PARTY REPORT to assist with the RPL process.
